Индија - Пакистан...нова „рунда“ или катаклизма?

Неврзани работи кои и немаат баш многу врска со авијацијата.
Simple chit chat for things that may not really correspond with aviation.

A study by the British Royal United Services Institute (RUSI), citing Pakistani representatives, states that during the conflict with India, the Pakistani Air Force's Chinese-made J-10CE fighter jet shot down an Indian Rafale fighter jet from a distance of 200 km.

According to the report, the shot down occurred thanks to the PL-15 air-to-air missile, but the export version of the PL-15E has a stated range of up to 145 km. It is possible that Pakistan could have received the Chinese version of the PL-15, whose range can already reach 200 km, if, of course, we believe in the veracity of the shot down at such a distance.

👉 At the same time, France expressed concern about the situation with rare earth metals, which are necessary for the production of Rafale.

The president of the French aerospace association GIFAS and the CEO of the engine manufacturer Safran stated that 90% of the industry's needs for rare earth elements are met by China, with which the US is in conflict.

“There is a tendency to turn the supply chain into a weapon, to use dependence on critical supplies to gain a geopolitical advantage. This is especially true of rare earth metals, which is a very delicate topic”
, he said.

But at the moment, the French aviation industry is avoiding a tariff war, as the supply chains of such major manufacturers as Airbus and Boeing are closely interconnected.
